My name is Leah Rose. Originally from the Santa Cruz mountains and now residing in Soquel, California, I've been immersed in the world of commercial art creating hand lettered signs, murals and commissioned art since 1999. My journey has been shaped by hands-on experimentation, online universities and workshops.
My art is a celebration of the natural beauty that surrounds us, particularly the landscapes of California. From the towering redwoods to the golden glow of a coastal sunset, I find endless inspiration in the colors and forms of the outdoors. Working primarily with acrylic and oil paints, I strive to capture the luminous essence of these landscapes, infusing each piece with a vivid palette and a sense of graceful movement.
Through my art, I aim to share the joy and wonder I experience in nature, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in my colorful interpretations of the world around us. I like to say my work is- Inspired by nature, born from the mind.
I create most of my paintings live on YouTube where you can watch my art come to life from my home studio in California.
